Giveaway: Pond’s Wet Cleansing Towelettes – ENDED

by FrugalRIMama on August 18, 2009

Thanks for coming back! Don't miss a good deal! Be sure to subscribe to my RSS feed, Sign up for Daily Emails, Follow Me on Twitter and Follow me on Facebook. Thanks for visiting!

One thing I always do before bed is wash my face even if I don’t have makeup on.  I started that as a teen because my older brother had really bad acne and I didn’t want that to happen to me and I believe if I washed it every night then I would escape the bad acne.  I’m not sure if it worked or I just had some different genes then he did because I never went through a bad skin stage.

Now that I’m older I’m more concerned about keeping my skin healthy.

Product Information:

Pond’s Wet Cleansing Towelettes will help to keep your skin clean and healthy. Here is some information about the towelettes:

POND’S Wet Cleansing Towelettes, the No. 1 brand of wet cleansing towelettes, gently remove make-up and even waterproof mascara. Clinical studies have shown that Pond’s towelettes remove the make-up that other brands leave behind – taking off up to 40 percent more than other leading towelettes.

Available in three varieties, they are ophthalmologist and dermatologist tested for a gentle face cleansing experience. POND’S Wet Cleansing Towelettes will launch new premium packaging that showcases the elegant pouch design.

The Giveaway:

The good people at Pond’s were nice enough to offer (1) one lucky Frugal RI Mama reader a chance to try them out.  The winner will receive Pond’s Wet Cleansing Towelettes Original Clean which is infused with vitamin E.

  • More effective at removing make-up than any other leading towelette
  • Contains Triple Tea Antioxidant Complex, Vitamin E and Chamomile
  • Luxuriously quilted cloths with a unique diamond texture allow for a deep clean without leaving any residue behind

Purchase Information:

Pond’s Wet Towelettes are sold just about anywhere that beauty items are sold. The Suggested Retail Price is around $5.00 (30/pack). I wash my face with mary kay timewise cleanser morning and night. During the day I use a tinted moisturizer with sunscreen (although if I’m going to spend any serious time in the sun I put regular sunscreen on as well) and at night a mary kay moisturizer. That’s it. I like to keep it simple!

After taking out my contacts, I rinse my face and use whatever face cleansing product I have at the time (either whatever is on sale, or whatever sounds interesting). Right now I am using a Walmart brand blackhead cleanser. I bought it because it has exfolliating beads and it works really well!

I should probably have a better routine, but I just wash with soap and water and then apply some moisturizer. That’s it! :)
And, it probably is in the genes…my sister had a bad case of acne but my brother and I did not…just the occassional pimple. Of course, when I *did* get one, it was an ugly one!

I wash my face every morning and every night w/Dove soap. I have tried almost everything and this seems to be the one item that has worked so far

33 Rebecca August 19, 2009 at 11:36 am

I use a variety of products depending on what I have on hand, have gotten a good deal on, etc. I am currently using Clean and Clear facial scrub product, an Avon lotion at night and an Olay lotion with spf 15 for day.

I use Neutrogena foaming face wash each night. I have tried some Olay cleansing cloths and loved the convenience of them, especially for traveling. However, when they ran out, I went back to my foaming face wash. I would love to give Pond’s a try though!

43 Tiffany August 19, 2009 at 11:35 pm

My routine consists of — washing with an Olay Daily Cleansing Cloth, followed by Biore astringent toner and Cetaphil moisturizer w/ SPF 15.

I used to use Ponds and tissues every night. Lately I’ve been using Noxema and water. Seems more earth friendly without the kleenexes. So I’d love to try the Ponds wet towelettes.
