Walmart:  I was very disappointed in how the worked the Walmart Black Friday sale this year.  They open at 5am and last year I got there about 4:45am which was perfect.  There was a line but it wasnt that bad.  This year when I pulled into the parking lot it was fuller than I had ever seen it before and I noticed that there wasn’t a line outside.  It was raining so I thought maybe they let people in a little earlier because I know the ad said 5 am.  I got inside and there were already people, tons of people lined up at the registers with full carts.  I was confused until I heard the announcement that it was 5am and the cashiers could now begin to check everyone out.  After asking around I figured out that they opened the doors around 3am and let people in and either get in line for a big ticket item that they would begin to give out at 5am or they could fill their carts for other stuff and then get in line to wait and check out.  I was NOT happy about this.  I had no idea, the ad did not say anything about opening so early and because of that I missed out on getting some Wii games I wanted.  Boo Hoo!  Walmart is not fair.  Supposidely they announced it on the radio but it would of been nice if the ad stated that too.  That was way too unfair.

But I still bought some things and got some good deals.  I don’t have a picture because everything is in hiding as well but here is what I got.  I’m not sure of the regular price of all the items so I’m not listing a savings total.

(1) Wii Game, Regular $49.99 -> Price Matched to Target ad, On Sale $27.00 (Saved $22.99)
(5) Pajama’s, On Sale $3.00
(1) Hoodie, On Sale $3.00
(3) VTech V.Smile games, On Sale $10.00 –> Regular Price $19.99 each (Saved $29.97)
(1) Kids Table & Chairs, On Sale $18.00 —> About $45.00 on Amazon (Saved $27.00)
(1) Little pet shop play set, On Sale $9.00 —> $39.00 on Amazon (Saved $30.00)
(2) Color Wonder sets, On Sale $5.00  —-> $12.99 each on Amazon (Saved $15.98)

Total Spent: $112.00
Total Saved: $125.94 at least
Total Savings: over 53%

I know the feeling on the Walmart deal, same thing happened to me. I went in and everyone had their buggy filled and the checkout lines were already backed up to the back of the store!! I stood in line longer than it took me to shop.

Great savings!

Sorry to hear that about Walmart…that’s no fun at all.

Our Wal-Mart’s are open 24 hours, what they did was let everyone get all they wanted in there carts before 5 am and then start to check out at 5am like you said. So I got into a very crowed parking lot, got in the store around 4:45 am and almost all the jackets and coats were GONE off the racks! I was so mad. It was not fair! They let the early birds that got there at 3 load there carts to their hearts content. The ad stated everyone would get in a line to get the stuff AT 5 am, I saw no lines just people in line at the checkouts. I will shop online from now on.
